Aviko Potato is responsible for potato procurement, quality management and the logistics organisation for the Aviko group in Western Europe. For the production of potato granules, potato flakes, chilled potato products, frozen fries and fresh fries and all kinds of potato specialties the right varieties are contracted in the Netherlands and abroad. Before the potatoes are processed, they are cleaned and sorted by size. To this end, Aviko Potato has sorting facilities at its disposal at the various production sites.
In addition, Aviko Potato is also involved with matters relating to raw materials for the Aviko factories outside of Europe.
Aviko Potato’s total turnover is 1,200,000 tonnes of potatoes per year.
