Aviko produces a wide range of potato products.

For the various intended purposes, Aviko processes different potato varieties which each have their own distinctive processing qualities.

The common characteristic of all these potatoes is that their cultivation has been checked in terms of food safety and that they are of excellent quality.

For potatoes for fries this means, among other things, a good baking colour, an adequate underwater weight and a nice length. For precooked products, the colour of the flesh, the taste and the cooking type are very important factors.

For starch (flakes and granules) a high underwater weight, a good flesh colour and a low sugar level are important.

Aviko Potato is responsible for procurement for the Western European factories of the Aviko group and likes to do business with partners who can supply raw materials that meet Aviko’s quality requirement
